Responsibilities

• Policy and Proctoring Guidance: prepare directives and guidance for departments, schedulers, instructors, and students to support Summer Sessions objectives; approve/deny proctor requests and ensure academic integrity.
• Coordination and Project Management: collaborate with academic departments, students, instructors, and campus partners; manage online course initiatives and enrollment projects.
• Strategic Direction and Contract Management: develop proposals to guide online courses, manage contracts/MOUs and licensing with internal/external partners.
• Reporting and External Relations: draft proposals and reports; maintain data exchanges with educational testing centers and proctor locations.
• Financial and Resource Analysis: analyze budgets and resource projects; oversee enrollment analytics, revenue share, and system implementations.
• Regulatory and Policy Monitoring: monitor regulations and UC policies related to Summer Sessions and online exams.
• Field Research and Best Practices: summarize best practices in Summer Sessions and online education.
• Committee Participation: lead or join policy/planning committees and working groups.
• Post-Implementation Analysis: assess need for enhancements related to student experience and online course support.
• Ad Hoc Analytical Studies: perform various analyses including profitability, enrollment data, and grades data.
• Consultative Services and Process Analysis: analyze processes and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
• Cross-Organizational Coordination: coordinate implementation with campus partners and instructors.
• Project Planning and Budgeting: develop scope, budgets, and reports for online course projects.
