Job summary

Voya Financial is offering an actuarial internship designed for students working closely with their manager on assigned teams. You will perform actuarial tasks, compile data, and contribute to rate filings and financial statement preparations.

Ideal candidates are undergrad or grad students graduating December 2027 or later, with a GPA of 3.2+, studying Data Analytics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management or Computer Science, and have familiarity with Excel, SQL, Python, or Access.

Qualifications

• Undergrad or Graduate students with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later with a degree based in a field such as Data Analytics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Risk Management or Computer Science and a GPA of 3.2 or above.

Responsibilities

• Perform actuarial tasks which are of a mathematical and/or higher clerical nature
• Compile and categorize data, documenting and verifying factors used in computations, such as those used in evaluating loss and expense reserves, preparing rate filings, schedules of statistics, financial statements, premiums, benefits and establishing rating and pricing levels
• Other duties and projects as assigned
