Job summary

Pacific Life invites you to join its Summer Internship Program in Charlotte, NC, offering hands-on actuarial projects at a Fortune 500 financial services company. You'll contribute to data analysis, modeling, and process improvement while working alongside mentors and actuarial professionals.

We seek students graduating between December 2027 and May/June 2028, with at least one SOA exam completed, strong math/statistics/finance fundamentals, and a drive to learn.

Qualifications

Completion of at least 1 SOA exam is required.
Pursuing an undergraduate degree majoring in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Actuarial Science.
Ability to problem solve and demonstrate leadership.
Strong communication and analytical skills.
Desire to gain more experience in the actuarial field.

Responsibilities

Create dashboards to visualise data and support actuarial projects.
Contribute to Rider Analysis, Cash Flow Analysis, and related actuarial tasks.
Develop tools for efficiency and automation in project work.
Collaborate with mentors and actuarial professionals on real-world assignments.
