Job summary

Hydrogen Group is representing a remote Substation Engineer-Level 4 for a 12-month contract. You will own substation projects from conception through commissioning, providing technical oversight of external engineers and coordinating with project management, supply chain, and ISO stakeholders.

The role requires strong knowledge of IEEE/NESC/ASCE codes, vendor management, and a bias for action. Some travel within North America may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil-Structural engineering preferred.
• 7+ years in substation design and high-voltage projects preferred.
• PMP or PE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering for assigned substation projects from concept to commissioning.
• Provide technical oversight of external engineers of record.
• Sourcing and managing engineering, geotechnical, survey, and construction services.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure safe, on-budget, compliant designs.
