Job summary

ICF is seeking a Substation P&C Drafting Technician to support Substation Protection and Control projects. You will create and modify drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation, following established CAD standards.

The role is remote in the US and targets candidates with basic drafting knowledge and attention to detail. You will work with engineers to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate’s degree in CAD/Engineering Technology or CAD certifications.
• 0-1 years of drafting experience; entry-level with strong CAD training considered.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD applications; familiarity with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed CAD drawings of substations from sketches or specs.
• Prepare one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and panel front views.
• Help organize project files and maintain CAD document archives.
• Assist with quality checks and project drawing reviews.
