Job summary

ICF is seeking a Substation P&C Designer to work on relay, protection and control projects for high-voltage substations from 12kV to 500kV, under the direction of the Electrical Project Lead. This REMOTE role supports clients and power utilities with design deliverables and QA/QC processes.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of detailed wiring design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Inventor, and MicroStation, and a strong understanding of AC/DC control diagrams and industry

Qualifications

• 3+ years of detailed wiring design experience, developing single lines, schematics and relay panels.
• Experience with substation (transmission) design.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare Protection and Control Drawings for substations (Relay One Lines, Three Lines, AC/DC Schematics, Panel Layouts).
• Coordinate with drafting disciplines to ensure quality deliverables.
• Incorporate vendor information into design deliverables and apply client standards.
