Job summary

ICF is seeking a Substation P&C Drafting Technician to support protection and control projects. You'll create and modify CAD drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation and maintain CAD standards.

Ideal candidates have 0-1 years of drafting experience, a high school diploma or associate degree in CAD/engineering, and proficiency with MS Office. This is a remote US role with flexible scheduling and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of drafting experience or strong technical training
• Experience with AutoCAD or other similar applications
• Familiarity with CAD standards and file management
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Access

Responsibilities

• Create and modify CAD drawings of substations based on engineers’ sketches or specs
• Prepare construction and demo drawing submission packages
• Conduct basic quality checks on final drawings and layouts
• Organize project drawing files and schedules; maintain CAD archives
