Job summary

Venbrook Group, LLC is seeking a Subrogation Specialist to identify, pursue, and recover subrogation rights for clients across auto, public entity, and property matters. Manage a caseload from referral to resolution, coordinate with claims teams, carriers, and recovery partners to maximize net recoveries.

The role requires 3–5 years of subrogation experience, a Paralegal Certificate, and strong negotiation and analytical skills; legal experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Paralegal Certificate from a state-credentialed program.
• 3 to 5 years of technical experience processing and recovering subrogation claims.
• Carl Warren & Company Subrogation experience.
• Knowledge of subrogation laws, rules, statutes, and core concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, policies, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of approximately 200 auto, public entity, and fixed property subrogation files from referral through resolution.
• Identify when subrogation and recovery opportunities exist on a case-by-case basis.
• Apply statutes and tort remedies to demand reimbursement from third parties.
• Gather police reports, accident reports, contracts, and other evidence.
• Review documents to assess liability, damages, and potential recovery strategies.
• Prepare and send demand packages and notices of subrogation interest.
• Negotiate recoveries with carriers and self-insured parties.
• Refer appropriate files to outside counsel and support with summaries and strategy.
• Track statutes of limitation and arbitration timelines.
• Maintain familiarity with filing statutes and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
