Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, invites a senior procurement professional to support U.S. Government and Commercial subcontracts in a remote role.

Lead sourcing from development through close-out, manage high-dollar FFP/Cost Type subcontracts from $10K to equal/greater $100M, and drive strategic supplier relationships. You will apply FAR/DFAR knowledge, perform price analysis, negotiate terms, and collaborate with IPTs, Engineering, and Program Offices to keep programs on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with DoD procurement/subcontracts ownership.
• Experience with FAR/DFAR.
• Experience negotiating price reductions and terms.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement and supplier administration for U.S. Government and Commercial subcontracts.
• Administer and care for high dollar FFP/Cost Type subcontracts from $10K to equal/greater $100M in value.
• Manage the overall sourcing and procurement activities from development through production and final contract close out.
• Manage tactical and strategic aspects of supplier relationships.
• Monitor and care for incoming supply of materials to fully support MRP and independent demand; interface with IPTs, Engineering, Production Control, Operations and Program Managers.
• Develop supply chain strategies and alternatives; create solutions to complex problems.
• Perform risk analysis and mitigation planning.
• Lead the supplier organization team and coordinate negotiations, POs, EVMS, and trend analysis.
• Perform Price Analysis and coordinate Enterprise Supplier Risk processes.
• Communicate proactively in a fast-paced environment.
