Job summary

You will negotiate and administer subcontracts for production and R&D, collaborating with engineering and program management to define procurement strategies and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years experience or advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Experience with FAR/DFARS regulations.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations; citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and administer subcontracts (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, Time & Materials) for production and R&D.
• Collaborate with material program management and engineering to define procurement strategies.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare subcontract documentation in compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations.
• Analyze supply chain challenges and develop solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
• Plan and execute procurement tasks to meet program requirements.
• Coordinate with senior staff on cross-functional initiatives.
• Use ERP systems to manage procurement and drive material outcomes.
• Conduct price analyses, support cost analyses, and lead negotiations.
• Source and document purchases; interface with IPTs to address issues.
