Job summary

RTX is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to work remotely within the Air and Space Defense Systems (ASDS) sector. You will handle procurement and supplier administration for U.S.

Government and Commercial subcontracts, spanning development to closeout, including high-dollar FFP/Cost Type awards and complex negotiations. The role requires a DoD procurement background, FAR/DFAR knowledge, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Eight (8) years of relevant experience preferred
• Experience with direct DoD procurement/subcontracts ownership
• Experience with FAR/DFAR
• Experience negotiating price reductions and terms and conditions

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement and supplier administration for U.S. Government and Commercial subcontracts (Domestic and International).
• Manage high-dollar FFP/Cost Type subcontracts from $10K to >$100M; oversee sourcing from development through closeout.
• Lead supplier relationships, risk analysis, and mitigation plans; coordinate with IPT, Engineering, Production, and Program Office.
• Conduct RFP generation, requirements flow-down, negotiation planning, and multi-functional negotiations.
• Perform price analysis and act as group-level coordinator for High-Risk Supplier Management and Enterprise Supplier Risk Tool processes.
