Job summary

RTX is seeking a Subcontracts Manager for a remote role within the Air and Space Defense Systems group. You will oversee procurement and administration of DoD and commercial subcontracts, manage high-dollar contracts, and lead multi-functional negotiation teams to secure favorable terms.

The role requires strong experience with FAR/DFAR, price analysis, risk mitigation, and excellent coordination with IPTs and program offices.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's and eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience with direct DoD procurement/subcontracts ownership.
• Experience with FAR/DFAR and government contracting processes.
• Experience negotiating price, terms, and conditions in complex subcontracts.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement and supplier administration for DoD and commercial subcontracts.
• Manage high-dollar FFP/Cost Type subcontracts from $10K to $100M+.
• Lead sourcing, negotiations, and contract close-out.
• Coordinate with IPTs, Engineering, Production, and Program Office to ensure supply.
• Develop risk analyses and mitigation plans for subcontract activities.
