Job summary

RTX Corporation seeks a Principal Specialist in Procurement to drive supplier strategies and compliance for US programs, including aerospace and defense contracts. Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, knowledge of FAR/DFAR, and a U.S. person status are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of related work.
• Experience with FAR and DFAR regulations.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain export authorizations as required.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and administer subcontract types for production and R&D.
• Collaborate with program management and engineering to define procurement strategies.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and take corrective actions as needed.
