Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Procurement Professional to lead sourcing and supplier management for DoD and commercial contracts. You will manage the full PO lifecycle, from RFIs to negotiations, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and company policies.

In this fast-paced, collaborative role you will analyze data, perform price analyses, and communicate requirements across Operations, Quality and Engineering to drive on-time, cost-effective outcomes for development programs.

Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor's and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years.
DoD procurement experience and knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations.
U.S. person or eligible to obtain export authorizations.

Responsibilities

Procure and manage supplier performance for DoD and commercial contracts.
Administer material and service procurements from domestic suppliers.
Place medium-complexity POs per FAR/DFARS and contract types.
Conduct price analyses and supplier negotiations; identify risks.
Prepare RFIs, RFPs, subcontracts; support negotiation strategies.
Communicate requirements to suppliers and ensure performance against cost, schedule, and quality.
