Job summary

Cambium Learning Group, Brightspire Virtual School is seeking a strategic, relationship-driven Student and Partner Success Advisor to support engagement, retention, and success for students, families, and institutional partners.

The role combines mentorship, advocacy, and proactive relationship management across onboarding and ongoing support for partnerships within a remote-first learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; master’s preferred.
• 5+ years in education or related field; virtual setting preferred.
• Knowledge of grades 6-12 education and virtual learning models.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development and family dynamics.
• Ability to build trust with students, families, and partners.
• Experience in a remote-first environment is a plus.
• High emotional intelligence and active listening skills.
• Proficiency with digital communication tools and learning platforms.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Cultural competency and commitment to inclusive learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with students, families, and partners as primary contact.
• Use the Proactive Success Monitoring System to track progress and identify needs.
• Communicate actionable support strategies to boost engagement.
• Guide students using the Inspired Learner Framework to set goals.
• Encourage participation in events, clubs, and enrichment opportunities.
• Explain expectations and policies, and identify resources for success.
• Resolve concerns promptly while ensuring satisfaction.
• Build meaningful relationships to improve retention.
• Develop onboarding plans and facilitate partner onboarding.
• Deliver ongoing support sessions for partnerships.
• Create onboarding resources and best practices.
