Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required or equivalent.
• Call center experience preferred.
• Knowledge of student loan programs is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from borrowers, explain repayment options.
• Explain deferment, forbearance types and eligibility.
• Gather borrower information to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with borrowers, agencies and Federal Student Aid.
• Escalate complex issues to supervisor when needed.
• Build professional relationships with customers and team members.
• Provide service that exceeds expectations and maintain professionalism.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of policies and procedures.
