Job summary

Liberty University is seeking a Military Affairs Contact Center Agent I to handle inbound and proactive outbound communications regarding financial aid for students. The role supports students via phone, chat, and email and requires accuracy in updating account information and staying informed through training.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree and knowledge of federal/state aid programs, with multilingual abilities as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Financial Aid and aid programs preferred.
• Knowledge of Pell, FSEOG, FWS, FDLP, VTAG, Voc Rehab, institutional aid and scholarships; veterans benefits.
• Fluent in Spanish or American Sign Language is a plus.
• Must not be in default on federal student loans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact via phone, live chat, and email for students seeking financial aid information.
• Perform proactive outbound calls to provide updated Financial Aid status information.
• Complete SharePoint tasks, follow up with students, and work on special projects.
• Represent Liberty University in a professional manner and uphold its Christian mission.
