Job summary

Actalent is seeking E1/E2 Structural Engineers for a 100% remote, long-term opportunity supporting nuclear power projects. Open to recent graduates through ~6 years of experience, with emphasis on structural analysis of steel and concrete structures and familiarity with AISC/ACI/ASCE codes.

Prior nuclear experience isn’t required; intern and co-op experiences are welcome. Earn hands-on exposure to seismic design, foundations, and equipment supports within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
0–6 years structural engineering experience.
Internships or co-ops acceptable for recent grads.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
Support nuclear plant modifications, upgrades, and structural evaluations.
Analyze structures for static, seismic, and other loading conditions.
Design and evaluate foundations, structural frames, equipment supports, and piping supports.
Apply AISC, ACI, and ASCE codes and standards.
Utilize structural analysis tools (GT STRUDL, ANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, RISA, ETABS).
Prepare calculations, reports, drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
