Actalent in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking E1 and E2 Structural Engineers for a long-term, 100% remote opportunity supporting nuclear power projects. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 0–6 years structural engineering experience; internships encouraged.
- Experience or coursework in structural analysis, steel and/or concrete design.
- Understanding of loads, load paths, stability and structural behavior.
- Familiarity with AISC, ACI, and ASCE codes.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
- Support nuclear plant modifications, upgrades and evaluations.
- Analyze structures for static and seismic loading.
- Prepare calculations, drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
