Job summary

Offshore Launch seeks a seasoned Structural Engineer to perform analyses, develop calculations, and apply AISC/IBC code requirements for heavy industrial structures. You will build models using RISA-3D and contribute to Tekla/AutoCAD drawings, collaborating with U.S. engineers in a remote environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering and 5+ years of experience with strong English communication. This is a full-time remote position with international collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience performing structural analysis and calculations with code requirements (AISC, IBC).
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and strong written and verbal English communication.
• Experience with structural analysis and drafting tools such as RISA-3D; familiarity with RAM, SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis of heavy industrial structures, including load path, wind, and seismic evaluation.
• Develop engineering calculations for steel structures, equipment supports, and foundations, applying AISC and IBC code requirements.
• Build structural models using RISA-3D (preferred) or RAM, SAP2000, ETABS, or STAAD.
• Assist with connection and foundation design.
• Draft structural steel and concrete drawings using Tekla Structures and AutoCAD, with about 40% of workload in drafting.
• Review engineering documents for accuracy and constructability and collaborate with internal and client teams.
