Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Indirect leader to drive category strategies and sourcing plans across IT, ITO, and BPO. This role partners with business units to optimize costs, reduce risk, and deliver value through strategic supplier management.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in strategic sourcing with a proven track record in complex negotiations and cross-functional collaboration. Remote options exist for Eastern/Central time zones; local Columbus, OH preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procurement, or related field.
• Proven track record implementing category strategies and supplier management programs.
• Specialized expertise in sourcing and negotiating high-value IT Outsourcing (ITO), BPO, and contingent labor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing sourcing team across IT, ITO, and BPO categories.
• Develop multi-year category roadmaps and annual sourcing plans to optimize costs and mitigate risks.
• Partner with business leaders to align supplier portfolios with long-term goals.
• Negotiate complex high-value contracts with clear KPIs and SLAs.
• Collaborate with legal, risk, and finance to ensure compliant contracts.
• Drive supplier performance reviews and continuous value realization.
• Oversee day-to-day RFx processes and team workflows for efficiency and compliance.
• Support special sourcing projects as needed.
