Job summary
Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Indirect leader to develop and execute category strategies for indirect goods and services. You will partner with stakeholders to optimize costs, manage risks, and drive value across IT, ITO, and BPO categories.
Responsibilities include strategy creation, supplier segmentation, contract negotiations, and ensuring compliance with procurement standards. Anticipated salary range is provided with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 8+ years in Strategic Sourcing or related field.
- Experience developing category strategies and supplier management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performance sourcing team across IT, ITO, and BPO.
- Develop multi-year category roadmaps and annual sourcing plans.
- Partner with business leaders to align supplier portfolios with goals.
- Lead negotiations for complex, high-value contracts with strong terms.
- Collaborate with legal, risk, and finance to ensure procurement compliance.
- Drive supplier performance reviews and value through relationships.
- Oversee day-to-day RFx processes and project evaluations.
- Support special sourcing projects and other duties as assigned.
