Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead, Portfolio Management – Quality Engineering Business Operations to drive Agile portfolio management, financial governance, and executive reporting for the QE COE.

You will coordinate planning cadences, executive communications, and resource plans across enterprise partners, vendors, and segments. The role emphasizes strategic initiatives, transformation coordination, and a high level of cross‑functional collaboration in a remote, US‑based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Finance, Business or IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of portfolio management, technology operations, or related experience.
• Experience coordinating across stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive audiences.
• Experience with budget, forecasting, and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile portfolio operations for the QE COE, aligning priorities, investments, demand, capacity, and delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate portfolio operating rhythms (PI Planning, Portfolio Reviews, ART Syncs, governance forums).
• Partner with Release Train Engineers, Product Managers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to improve delivery predictability and mitigate risks.
• Facilitate portfolio governance to align initiatives, funding, capacity, and commitments.
• Track cross-team dependencies, risks, impediments, and escalations affecting delivery.
• Ensure SAFe/Lean portfolio practices align with enterprise standards and governance.
• Support OKR tracking, value realization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the portfolio.
• Support enterprise quality transformation initiatives and strategic operational priorities.
• Leverage AI tools to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate plans, milestones, risks, and reporting across strategic programs.
• Track organizational goals and action plans, driving accountability for outcomes.
• Support innovation and continuous improvement programs, including the QE Innovation Lab.
• Measure and communicate program value and business outcomes.
• Support annual planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial governance across QE.
