Job summary

Paylocity in the United States is seeking a senior partnerships leader within the Business Development Team to recruit, develop, and scale strategic partnerships with fintechs, card networks, banks, and IT management software. You will work cross-functionally with product, sales, and legal to drive revenue growth across the Finance & IT segment.

This fully remote role requires 8+ years in tech partnerships, a background with financial institutions or fintechs, and experience operationalizing

Qualifications

8+ years in a high-growth technology company with 3+ years in strategic partnerships, business development or strategy.
Undergraduate degree required; business or finance preferred.
Financial institution and Fintech partnership experience.
BYOC, co-branded, or embedded card program experience.
Experience operationalizing complex financial agreements with Product, Legal, and Finance.
IT Asset Management/Access management knowledge.
Investment banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute consistent & scalable framework to evaluate potential partners that ties into a broadly defined corporate strategy.
Evaluate fintech, banking, and IT management partners.
Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for banking/fintech partnerships with a focus on driving significant revenue and market expansion
Become a subject matter expert in spend management, commercial cards, and IT management.
Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product.
Expand collaboration to include Legal, Finance, and Operations.
Program management of partner programs.
Oversee rollout, enhancement, and scaling of the BYOC program.
Own and manage fintechs, card networks, regional banks, large banks, and IT partners and create expansion opportunities.
Build and maintain senior-level strategic partner relationships and negotiate high-value deals.
Negotiate complex commercial agreements with financial institutions and card networks.
