Job summary

IFPA is seeking a remote Membership Manager to steward a diverse portfolio of members, prospects, exhibitors, and at-risk accounts across the United States and Canada. You will map business priorities, track engagement, and document renewal risks and growth opportunities.

Build executives-level relationships, activate member value, and coordinate with Business Development, Events and other teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in membership or related field.
• Ability to build relationships and conduct discovery.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Knowledge of fresh produce/foodservice industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of members, prospects, exhibitors, under-engaged organizations, and at-risk accounts.
• Understand each organization's business model, priorities, challenges, structure, key relationships, and current IFPA engagement.
• Maintain account plans that document business priorities, engagement, unmet needs, renewal risks, expansion opportunities, and next actions.
• Support recruitment, conversion, renewal, retention, at-risk recovery, and appropriate multi-year membership opportunities.
• Identify sector-specific needs and recommend ways to strengthen IFPA's Membership Value Proposition.
• Qualify commercial opportunities and refer them to Business Development, which leads sales strategy, proposals, negotiation, contracting, and revenue execution.
