Job summary

ABB is seeking a Strategic Marketing Specialist in the U.S. Electrification Marketing - U.S. team, with a focus on market-driven growth across industries.

The role reports to the Industry and Channel Marketing Director and collaborates across commercial, product, strategy, and communications to turn market opportunities into impactful campaigns. The preferred location is Cary, NC, with openness to remote candidates based in the Continental U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
• Ability to organize information and communicate clearly with different audiences.
• Ability to work across multiple functions and influence without direct authority.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20% within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer challenges, buying drivers, and decisionmaking to inform market positioning and messaging.
• Translate longterm strategy into go-to-market and campaign plans with clear objectives.
• Plan, develop, and lead execution of integrated marketing campaigns.
• Partner with segment leaders and product teams to identify new opportunities and support marketing initiatives.
• Develop messaging frameworks and content requirements that articulate ABB's value across lifecycle.
• Ensure consistent positioning across digital, events, content, and partner channels.
• Collaborate with industry organizations and seek speaking engagements, panels, and white papers.
• Support priority trade events, conferences, and customer forums to strengthen ABB's market presence.
