Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Patient Support Program Strategy to shape the vision, governance, and roadmap for the Patient Support Program supporting an individualized cancer therapy. This role leads hub services, enrollment, affordability, and case management across the patient journey.

Collaborate with Market Access, Legal, Privacy, and Data teams to ensure compliant execution and optimize patient access and experience in a dynamic oncology portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in pharma/biotech with patient services/affordability experience.
• Experience designing and optimizing patient support programs and hub services.
• Strong understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement, and data governance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a matrix org.

Responsibilities

• Define PSP strategy, service model, and capabilities.
• Design enrollment and consent data strategies for patient programs.
• Oversee affordability program design and copay structures.
• Partner with Vendors to translate strategy into operations.
• Establish performance measures and governance for vendor partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for launch readiness and compliance.
