Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. in North Wales, PA is seeking an Associate Director to lead the Patient Support Program data strategy and management.

This role oversees data foundations, measurement frameworks, and reporting to illuminate patient progression from prescription to access, onboarding, fulfillment, adherence, and persistence. The role partners with Patient Experience, analytics, hub and specialty operations, marketing, and vendors to ensure data integrity and actionable insights that shape

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals or healthcare, with patient support programs, patient experience, data/analytics, access & reimbursement, or related areas.
• Deep understanding of hub services, specialty pharmacy operations, patient status codes, prescription fulfillment workflows, and PSP reporting.
• Proven ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations and KPIs.
• Experience defining data specs and dashboards for complex cross-functional programs.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end brand data strategy, design & mapping for Patient Support Program across hubs and channels.
• Translate priorities and analytics into data specs, deliverables, SLAs, and enhanced service requirements.
• Manage PSP data integrity to support timely decision‑making.
• Drive cross‑functional execution across multiple workstreams with risk management.
• Oversee data delivery with external partners and vendors for activation and performance.
• Develop dashboards and routine reports to flag trends and actions for leadership.
