Job summary

First Help Financial is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with senior leaders across designated business units. The role emphasizes organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and people strategy to improve performance, retention, and engagement.

The successful candidate will manage employee relations, workforce planning, and culture execution, while ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of HR Business Partnering experience.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders in fast-growing or evolving orgs.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and employment law.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to leaders on organizational design and workforce planning
• Coach leaders on performance management, ER, change management, and leadership effectiveness
• Partner with leadership on retention and engagement initiatives
• Drive performance management practices including goals, feedback, and development planning
• Support talent reviews, succession planning, and internal mobility
• Identify skill gaps and deliver targeted solutions
• Lead complex employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgment
• Promote a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture
• Translate data into executive-ready insights for decision-making
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Develop policies in collaboration with People Ops leadership
