Job summary

Everyday Democracy is seeking a Director of Institutional Giving to lead and grow its institutional giving program. Report to the VP of Advancement, you will develop strategies to expand and sustain revenue, build a strong portfolio of funders, and translate programs into compelling cases for support.

You will manage writing of grants and reports, coordinate with leadership, and oversee systems for tracking proposals, LOIs, and donor engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years in institutional fundraising with grant writing and foundation relations.
• Proven track record securing six-figure grants and building a pipeline.
• Experience with donor databases and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the institutional giving plan to grow, diversify, and sustain institutional revenue.
• Monitor philanthropic trends and identify funding opportunities that align with priorities.
• Manage the institutional giving budget with the VP of Advancement to align revenue goals.
• Write high-quality grant applications, reports, and fundraising collateral.
• Cultivate relationships with foundations, corporations, and government funders.
• Oversee donor databases, calendars, and pipelines for grants and reporting.
