Job summary

Person-to-Person seeks a Director of Institutional Giving to lead the agency’s fundraising strategy for foundations, corporations, and government partners. You will cultivate and steward a robust portfolio of institutional funders and prospects, translating P2P’s programs and outcomes into persuasive proposals and reports.

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Philanthropy & Strategy Officer, you will manage grants, reporting, and donor communications while building efficient workflows and ensuring

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of direct grant writing, prospect research and grants management experience.
• Proven track record in writing and submitting grant applications, including 5- and 6-figure grants.
• Manage an institutional portfolio of 80–100 funders and meet revenue goals of $1.2M–$1.5M annually.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an annual institutional fundraising strategy aligned with P2P priorities, programs, budget and revenue goals.
• Manage approximately 100 institutional funders and prospects to meet or exceed the annual $1.2M–$1.5M revenue goal.
• Maintain a grants calendar and pipeline tracking prospects, renewals, deadlines, requests, projected revenue, probability, reporting requirements, and next steps.
• Prepare and present periodic performance reports to leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Collaborate across Programs, Finance, Data Management, Stewardship and organizational leadership to translate programs and outcomes into compelling funder materials.
