Job summary

Very LLC is seeking an Engagement Lead to own client outcomes across 1–3 engagements. This remote-first role demands leadership in commercial and delivery aspects, driving profitability, scope, and client satisfaction.

You’ll bridge engineering delivery and business development, negotiating SOWs, maintaining stakeholder trust, and steering engagements toward measurable impact while traveling within the US as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 5+ years in client services, technical program management, or delivery-facing roles in tech.
• Proven ability to own client relationships and write SOWs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to executives.
• Experience with IoT, connected hardware, or complex product development preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the US as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own 1–3 active client engagements and ensure value and profitability.
• Maintain client trust and align expectations with deliverables.
• Write and negotiate Statements of Work for new phases and follow-on engagements.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Lead delivery health: scope, schedule, and quality.
