Optum is seeking a Manager, Strategic Analytics & Market Intelligence to partner with enterprise leaders and deliver data-driven insights that drive growth, market positioning, and service line planning in healthcare.

The role uses advanced analytics, external data, and AI-enabled tools to identify opportunities and develop executive recommendations. Remote work is available nationwide, with in-office presence required in Minneapolis or Washington, DC four days per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, strategy, business planning, consulting, market intelligence, or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience leveraging healthcare data to support strategic decision making and growth initiatives.
• 3+ years of experience in analytical skills with demonstrated experience utilizing large and complex datasets.
• 3+ years of experience presenting analytical findings to leadership audiences using MS PowerPoint Or Excel.
• Proven relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with strategy, business development, physician enterprise, and service line leaders to support growth priorities.
• Evaluate market opportunities using demographics, trends, and competitive data.
• Analyze referral patterns, patient flow, market potential, and demand forecasts.
• Develop business cases and executive presentations quantifying growth and impact.
• Manage analytics portfolios and align roadmaps; communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison between leadership and analytics teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Present insights with AI-enabled analytics to accelerate decisions and efficiency.
