Optum Insight Analytics is seeking a Manager of Analytics Services to oversee delivery across Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial programs. You will lead analytics teams, apply AI-enabled tools, and translate data trends into actionable insights for clients.

The role offers remote work from anywhere in the U.S., with in-office requirements in Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. for some hires, and opportunities to advance through AI and automation initiatives while delivering measurable value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience applying quantitative methods to healthcare problems.
• 5+ years delivering Data Analytics/BI, data visualization, and reporting (Python, SQL, or R).
• 3+ years working with healthcare data models across member, claim, and provider data.
• 3+ years analyzing large healthcare data in data warehouse environments.
• 1+ years using AI-enabled or automation reporting tools to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics service delivery across Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial domains with key KPIs.
• Adopt best practices for data analytic techniques, including AI-enabled solutions for governance and management.
• Deliver business insights via reporting and AI-related solutions.
• Design and implement data analytic models predicting emerging trends.
• Develop innovative AI and automation-enabled solutions for actionable client insights.
• Translate complex data concepts for varied audiences.
• Collaborate with SMEs to analyze broad data sets and define trend strategies.
• Apply AI tools within daily workflows to improve efficiency.
• Partner with AI team to embed AI into reporting and dashboarding.
• Oversee developers to transform data models and support client reporting.
• Develop analytic data models and data sets to drive insights.
• Create ad hoc reports based on trend forecasting and BI metrics.
• Deliver data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.
