ERMCO Electric Research and Manufacturing Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to lead and grow relationships with key distributors and industrial customers in North America. The role requires a strategic mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of driving revenue.

This position is remote within the following states and requires up to 50% travel to customer sites and industry events, with relocation assistance available as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development.
• Proven success managing complex customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and develop actionable account strategies.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the distribution transformer industry.
• Maintain strong relationships with assigned strategic accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within strategic accounts to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their challenges and aligning ERMCO’s offerings accordingly.
• Prepare and present regular business reviews, forecasts, and account plans to customers and leadership.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing in line with company guidelines and customer expectations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform plans.
• Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and escalations to maintain relationships.
• Represent the company at industry events and travel to customer sites.
