Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Storage Sales Specialist to support HPE's State & Local Government business across the Washington/Oregon territory. This field-based role drives net new business while expanding existing customer relationships through HPE's storage portfolio, working with account managers, presales teams, and channel partners.

The ideal candidate has enterprise storage sales experience, builds pipeline, and thrives in a consultative selling environment with public sector

Qualifications

4+ years of enterprise technology field sales experience.
Experience selling into State & Local Government (SLED) customers.
Storage, data center infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise hardware/software sales experience.
Reside in Washington or Oregon and be willing to travel approximately 40-50% throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Sell storage products and solutions in assigned territory.
Develop pursuit plans and build storage sales pipeline.
Contribute to proposal development, negotiations and deal closings.
Collaborate with the Account Manager, presales, and channel partners to deliver outcomes.
Build sales readiness and transfer knowledge in storage.
Coordinate with and support the account team to drive opportunities.
