Symetra is seeking an STD Claims Analyst - WBI in Bellevue, WA to make timely decisions on Short-Term Disability, SDI, and Absence Management claims. You will gather data from clinical, vocational, employer, financial sources and compare it to contract terms and procedures to render accurate decisions.

The role emphasizes clear written and verbal communications, thorough documentation, regulatory compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of cumulative, relevant experience
• Bi-lingual is a plus
• Knowledge of disability claims

Responsibilities

• Make timely, accurate STD, SDI, and AM new and ongoing claim decisions, gathering information from clinical, vocational, employer, financial, and other sources.
• Demonstrate proficiency in product and claim administration techniques and meet or exceed team metrics.
• Maintain empathetic, customer-focused service throughout all interactions and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to support a positive work environment and uphold professional integrity.
