Job summary

Softdocs is seeking an experienced public-sector Account Executive to drive growth across U.S. state and local government accounts in a fully remote capacity. You will own territory strategy, build pipelines, and lead multi-stakeholder deals from discovery to contract.

You will cultivate champions, navigate RFP/RFI processes, and partner with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, and Legal to close substantial new logo opportunities. Travel up to 35% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in quota-carrying B2B software or SaaS sales.
• Experience selling to state/local government.
• Proven track record of net-new business and meeting/quota.
• Ability to build pipeline via outbound, partners, events, and strategic accounts.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop your territory with a strategic plan across US state and local government.
• Build and manage account plans; identify stakeholders and initiatives.
• Develop opportunities before RFPs; uncover modernization initiatives and needs.
