Job summary

Chore runs the back office for US startup founders, handling HR, payroll, finance and compliance so founders can focus on building their companies. As Operations Manager, you’ll project manage critical operational matters for clients and own the overall operations with a Strategic Partner.

You’ll work directly with US founders, managing the day-to-day, while building trusted relationships and contributing to strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience interfacing with clients or external parties.
• Ability to solve problems when others cannot.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with founders.

Responsibilities

• Manage back-office operations for multiple client startups.
• Coordinate HR, payroll and finance tasks with vendors and clients.
• Identify operational improvements and document SOPs.
• Build trusted relationships with founders and a strategic partner.
• Select tools and vendors within budget.
• Contribute to knowledge base.
