Entrepreneur Cooperative in the United States seeks a Senior Business Operations Specialist to act as the operational backbone for a rapidly growing investment management practice. This remote role emphasizes automation, AI-driven processes, and cross-functional collaboration with founders and leadership.

You will own finance, fund operations, recruiting, investor relations, and systems optimization, building scalable workflows and measuring efficiency gains.

Qualifications

• C2 / Near-native English proficiency.
• 8+ years of experience in Business Operations, Operations, Chief of Staff, Finance Operations, Fund Operations, or similar cross-functional roles.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Experience supporting finance operations and business processes.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Hands-on experience using AI tools and workflow automation.
• High level of ownership and discretion, with ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily business operations across multiple teams.
• Manage leadership calendars, meetings, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Support weekly operational reviews and quarterly business planning.
• Develop and improve operational playbooks, documentation, and reporting.
• Manage vendors, subscriptions, and internal business systems.
• Own recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Maintain HR records and support people operations.
• Help foster a collaborative and engaging remote culture.
• Manage investor communications and coordinate meetings.
• Prepare leadership materials and board meeting logistics.
• Coordinate executive travel and strategic initiatives.
• Track priorities and ensure timely follow-up across leadership projects.
• Support company expense management, invoices, reimbursements, payroll coordination, and financial administration.
• Assist with fund operations, including investor onboarding, subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, and fund administration activities.
• Review fund reporting and NAV information before leadership approval.
• Support capital calls, distributions, fee calculations, and investor reporting.
• Assist with new fund launches and operational setup.
• Coordinate with external fund administrators and internal finance teams.
• Become the internal expert on the company's operational systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows through AI and automation.
• Build AI-powered workflows, automations, and agents that eliminate manual work.
• Measure operational improvements through efficiency gains and scalability.
• Support outbound sales initiatives and CRM management.
