Job summary

Jasper, Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to shape the integration pod and architect data ingestion across external systems like Salesforce and HubSpot. You will influence IQ-layer primitives and set engineering direction for reliability, security, and AI-powered outcomes.

The role is fully remote, open to candidates across the continental US, and offers a strong base salary with extensive benefits. You will lead cross-team initiatives and guide architectural decisions at a staff level.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience at a staff/principal level.
• Proven track record delivering major technical initiatives and understanding their impact.
• Experience designing and building integration and data-ingestion systems connecting to multiple external systems.
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals enabling reliability, scale, and maintainability.
• AI fluency with core concepts applied to AI-powered engineering systems.
• Proactive ownership mindset with ability to plan and execute.
• Excellent technical judgment and ability to align teams around direction.
• Familiarity with marketing systems and platforms (CRM/marketing tools).

Responsibilities

• Own the technical vision and architecture for the integration pod, defining how Jasper connects to external systems.
• Architect data ingestion and integration systems accounting for API limits, authentication, and security constraints.
• Design and evolve context primitives in the IQ layer that depend on external data.
• Collaborate across teams to translate customer requirements into scalable solutions.
• Proactively plan and drive to completion, setting a high standard for staff-level work.
• Shape architectural direction and contribute to broader org-level technical vision.
• Research and propose concrete plans for architectural improvements and upgrades.
