Job summary

Jasper is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to act as a generalist at the core of its security engineering function. You will shape AI security direction while hands‑on across infrastructure, product security, and compliance engineering, partnering with Engineering, GRC, Product, IT, and Legal.

This is a force‑multiplier role on a small team with impact across the platform. The role is fully remote in the US and reports to the Director, Security, with a compensation range disclosed publicly.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security engineering with hands‑on AI security and cloud security.
• Experience securing AI systems and ML pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and AWS security services.
• Experience with GRC platforms (Vanta, Drata).
• Ability to automate security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security design, implementation, and controls for Jasper’s AI infrastructure.
• Own threat modeling for AI risks and design controls for validation, logging, and auditing.
• Build security tooling and automated checks to enable AI capabilities without slowing teams.
• Collaborate, design, and influence the direction of the Security program.
• Work with GRC to automate evidence collection and compliance workflows (e.g., Vanta/Drata).
• Strengthen infrastructure security across GCP and AWS: IAM, network, secrets, secure defaults.
• Own and improve GitHub security controls, CI/CD security, and secret scanning.
• Operate Wiz to identify and remediate cloud misconfigurations and vulnerabilities.
• Use AI tooling in your workflow and partner with teams to translate security needs into practical solutions.
