Job summary

Jasper is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to drive the technical vision and architecture for the integration pod within the IQ team. You will shape how we ingest data from Salesforce, HubSpot, and other systems, balancing API limits, security, and scalability to power Jasper's AI outputs.

This remote role welcomes candidates across the continental US, with responsibilities spanning architecture, data primitives, and cross-team collaboration to raise engineering standards and deliver reliable,

Qualifications

8+ years software engineering experience at staff/principal level
Led major technical initiatives to completion with responsible ownership
Deep expertise in designing integration/data-ingestion systems
Strong distributed systems fundamentals for reliability and scalability
AI fluency with LLMs, agents, tokens and data governance
Proactive ownership mindset to drive business needs
Excellent technical judgment and communication across teams
Familiarity with marketers’ systems like Salesforce and HubSpot

Responsibilities

Own the technical vision and architecture for the integration pod
Architect data ingestion/ integration systems considering API limits and security
Design context primitives in the IQ layer dependent on external data
Collaborate across teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Plan and execute architectural initiatives, guiding staff-level work
Identify next projects and align with org-level technical vision
Propose and evaluate architectural improvements with stakeholders
