The Vantage Network is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support general accounting operations across the network, including day-to-day activities for several entities under the Director of Accounting. You will prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and assist with month-end close in a multi-entity remote environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience including GL accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, A/P and A/R.
• Working knowledge of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office with Excel emphasized.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to research discrepancies and implement corrections.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in a multi-entity environment.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with professional communication.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for assigned smaller entities under Director of Accounting.
• Prepare and post routine journal entries, accruals, allocations, reclassifications, payroll entries, and month-end adjustments.
• Perform GL and balance sheet reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end/year-end closing and supporting schedules.
• Support AP activities: invoice review, GL coding, vendor setup, payment processing.
• Assist AR activities: invoicing, payment application, account research.
• Review AR transactions for accuracy and coordinate corrections.
• Review transactions for proper GL coding and intercompany allocations.
• Prepare and record intercompany journal entries and reconcile intercompany balances.
• Support payroll and benefits accounting with reconciliations and allocations.
• Assist with financial reports, account analyses, and management schedules.
• Maintain organized supporting documentation and improve procedures.
