Job summary

LifeSkills Connection, Inc. is hiring an Accountant to help keep multi-entity finances accurate and healthy. You will work closely with our VP of Finance, CPA, and Corporate Finance Operations Manager in a collaborative team, not a solo back-office role.

You will prepare and examine financial records across entities, perform reconciliations, manage payables/receivables, and support payroll with our HR team, helping strengthen operations and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and 2 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and strong Excel skills.
• Multi-entity or government cost accounting experience is a plus, not required.
• CPA, CMA, or similar certification is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine financial statements across multiple entities for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and support month-end/year-end close.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment runs.
• Support tax preparation in coordination with the company CPA.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger across all entities in QuickBooks Online.
• Spot opportunities to reduce costs, improve processes, and strengthen financial operations.
• Support payroll processing and reconciliations alongside HR.
