Job summary

Mobiz IT, Inc. is hiring a Staff Accountant for a fully remote, full-time role serving the US. You will own month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations, coding with full dimensional data, and ensuring accurate profitability reporting across entities and currencies.

You will manage intercompany charges, payroll allocations, and provide variance analysis with a focus on process improvements. Strong Dynamics 365 BC experience and US GAAP knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP with revenue recognition for subscription contracts.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
• Demonstrated accuracy under deadline with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close and Journal Entries: post recurring close entries and allocate revenues/expenses.
• Reconciliations: bank, cards, and intercompany accounts; ensure zero differences.
• Multi-Entity and Intercompany: cross-charge entries and reconcile balances.
• Cost Allocation and Customer Profitability: payroll allocation and margin tracking.
• Reporting and Analysis: monthly P&L by department and variance analysis.
• Tax and Compliance Support: sales/use tax filings and audit support.
• Controls and Continuous Improvement: adhere to internal controls and automate where possible.
