Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health technology, seeks a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role reports to the Controller and focuses on accurate reconciliations, close processes, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Preferred undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including bank reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist the month-end close process, including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines are met for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors by providing requested documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP standards.
