RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral and mental health technology, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This role supports month-end close, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and GAAP-compliant reporting from a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Investigate discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist month-end close with balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Ensure deadlines for financial reporting and management review.
• Support external auditors with requested documents.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and GAAP.
