Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 1–3 years of corporate accounting experience.
• GAAP knowledge.
• Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables and VLOOKUP).
• Sage Intacct experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Verifies and processes daily transactions for financial reports for senior management.
• Assists with journal entries and monthly close under supervision.
• Ensures integrity of accounting records and compliance with GAAP.
• Prepares periodic schedules and performs month-end reconciliations.
• Gathers data to support variance analysis during month-end close and records adjustments as necessary.
• Research variances and respond to management questions during close.
• Participates in special projects and tracks tax notices/audit support as instructed.
• Identifies process improvements and makes recommendations.
