Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the accounting and finance team, reporting to the Controller. This role will handle day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close, ensuring GAAP compliance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting activities including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Assist month-end close including balance sheet and P&L reconciliations.
• Support external auditors with requested documentation.
